Withy Cutters on West Moor
Four withy (willow) workers on West Moor, taking refreshment from bottles, standing in front of large stack of bundles of withies cut from the moor. L to R: Harold Lock, Fred Bisgrove, Fred Duck and Len Duck. The staged nature and high quality of the photograph suggests this was taken by Mary Godlonton of East Lambrook, who took many photographs around the parish at this time.
