Glovers working at decoration on the outside of gloves - Shirley Oaten and Rene Male. By 1961, the Kingsbury gloving business had been sold by the Reed family to Southcome Gloves. The Kingsbury Factory remained open until 2005. The factory was demolished and the houses in Threadneedle Close now stand on the site.
