Theresa Burrows - with her father Francis (Frank) Burrows - wedding day

Theresa Burrows, eldest daughter of Frank and Gertrude Burrows, leaving the New Inn with her father, for her wedding to Edward Kensington at Kingsbury Church in 1946/7. The man in the background is Cyril Hawkins, the corn merchant from Shepton Beauchamp. Theresa's sister, Dorothy Welch thinks that her parents Frank and Gertrude Burrows took over The New Inn when she was 6 years old, so that would have been 1933, and they were there until 1954. At some point, The New Inn was renamed The Withycutters. It is now a private home.
