Street Scene showing the New Inn

Centre of Kingsbury Episcopi village showing the New Inn and nearby buildings, with women and children in the street. In 1906 Charles F.Keepings married and it is likely he took over the New Inn about this time. Trade directories show he was still the landlord in 1914 and 1919. His wife died in 1920, and by 1927 there is another landlord at the New Inn. It was later re-named the Withycutters.
